On this site, you will find all the resources you need to start your virtual ATC career with VATSIM Central and North Africa! Please read all instructions carefully on this page to avoid delays.

The ATC Training Department is committed to the development of those wanting to learn to control on VATSIM within the Central and North African Divisions. In order to meet this commitment, we endeavour to provide all of the resources and support we can.

Contained within this website, and our partner websites, you will see the ATC Manual and Guide which will provide you with the theoretical training needed to start and move on through the ATC Ratings. There is also a link to ATSimTest (formally Eurotest) on the on top of this page and on the right, our theoretical testing system, as well as information on progression.  All course materials are written in English language.

Introduction:

Our training staff is committed to provide you with all the resources necessary to get you online as quickly as possible. We provide both theoretical and live training and assessment.

VATSIM ATC Rating progression:

- GROUND Controller (S1)
- TOWER Controller (S2)
- TMA Controller (S3)
- ENROUTE Controller (C1)

To progress through each rating, the controller must show minimum competencies required for each rating. These competencies are defined in the VATSIM Global Rating Policy. These competencies are assessed by written and on-line practical tests.
